2007 In Review


1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Managed a business properly. Paperwork and licenses and everything.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Probably not but I should, for both

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No, I'm still not old yet.

5. What countries did you visit?
I guess the USA still counts as a visit, but apart from that nothing as I'm not allowed to leave this place.

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Stability, income

7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Day we got our visas allowed

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Not failing

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not achieving

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I had a small rash which ended up costing about $250 to get a doctor to look at. I hope I don't get properly sick here because healthcare is screwed here and even a minor illness could bankrupt many people, even if they're insured.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
19cm Dior Homme jeans or a 1996 Geo Metro, which shockingly cost about the same. A guy's gotta have priorities!

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Kim - my super-awesome cute, smart, nerdy girlfriend

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Couldn't say

14. Where did most of your money go?
I didn't have any money.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Getting our visas approved
Going to the Beat Harvest warehouse party out in the Florida countryside

a) happier or sadder? No change. My situation is technically worse, but I'm still optimistic for the future.
b) thinner or fatter? Fatter (but still technically underweight)

Traveling and making friends

Worrying and overworking

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Lying in a drunken stupor on the sofa in front of James Bond covered in food stains and with my family, just how I like it.

Zero

No, still don't hate anyone

I was 24 and I went to the opening night of Die Hard 4 with my family.

My brother not crashing our car a month after we got it.
